It depends on where you live, or your job (?) but a-line and flowey skirts look good, especially in darker tinges. A cardigan or wrap jacket of lace always looks great and accentuates your curves. Black, Pink, Purple, Green and blue would probably look good on you.

im 5'0. things that seem to make you taller is if you're wearing shorts because i believe it elongates your legs more. sometimes wearing long shirts can make your torso longer, just make sure you don't overboard on it.
like everyone else said wear bright colors. look for inspiration from other peoples clothes that you like and add your own things to it to make it your own style :]
