Why? His music is terrible and an actor he's awful. He takes himself too seriously so we should all laugh at the joke.

Oh, don't hate the Shat Man! You're probably taking him seriously. He's made a career out of being a buffoon. He didn't mean to be a buffoon on "Star Trek", but he came off that way with his "over-acting".
I loved him in the "Miss Congeniality" movies. He was so hammy, he was banned in Jerusalem.
