does anyone believe in astrology?????? if so why?

I believe in it but I don't base my life around it. Like I'm a Libra and basically everything I've read about Libras is true to who I am...even the bad...which isn't alot, is true. But, if I start going out with a guy and things are perfect and then I read that astrologically we aren't compatible, I'm not going to break-up with him. I'm just going to ride the wave and see where it takes me.

I made some independent observations about interactions between people without knowing anything about astrology, and then found that astrology agreed with a lot of my observations. In a way, it gave voice to my observations.
For me, it is a social science tool.

I believe in astrology because my sign tells me all of my personal charasterics and explains alot of why i am the way iam in certain ways and only people of my sign experience those same charasterictics

It's not only to believe it, it's using it.

Do I ask a F1 driver why he believes in his car? Or in his sport? It's just as absurd as it can be. I mean pilots go round, and then one crashes in a wall and tires and helmet parts fly everywhere, and people pay for this. Plus it pollutes the atmosphere and it wastes gaz.

I think that people are just meant for these things, like others are born to not understand them and be happy workers. We should all respect that.

I believe in it because its what I do for people, and I have seen it come to fruition time and time again - however in saying that - the people who have the most success with it are the ones who understand what it is correctly and use it to enrich their lives and understand themselves. If you regard it as a fortune telling option, you'll always be disappointed.
