I have a very enlarged prostate but I DO NOT HAVE problems urinating - so my question is - Is there any good reason to take Permixon, a product developed from the Saw Palmetto Tree?
However I do have problems with ED.

Just take Saw Palmetto and see if that helps you. I take it and its been good for my prostate health.

Saw palmetto may have effects on the body's response to the sex hormones estrogen and testosterone, but no specific effect has been well demonstrated in humans. Men or women taking hormonal medications (such as finasteride/Proscar®/Propecia® or birth control pills) or who have hormone-sensitive conditions should use caution. Tinctures may contain high levels of alcohol and should be avoided when driving or operating heavy machinery.

Note: Numerous human trials report that saw palmetto (Permixon) improves symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (enlarged prostate) such as nighttime urination, urinary flow, and overall quality of life. The effectiveness may be similar to the medication Finasteride (Proscar) with fewer side effects.
Stop taking it for awhile and see if it helps with the ED. If it has no effect, then at some point, you might want to start taking it again. Doesn't have ;many side effects.

Those type of products are for maintaining health.. If you already have a problem with your prostate then you need to see a Dr. It could be one of many things wrong.. don't wait until it is too late to do something..

The only way to find out is to give it a 3 month trial period. These preparations do help many. There are those that they do not benefit. Have they ruled out the causes for your ED? Many are treatable. Have a nice day.
