Nothing at all wrong with my shower...it happens only when I am alone.

that happens to me too! I hear people knocking on the front door, the back door, even the bathroom door. I could swear I hear people talking to me too or calling my name. I hear the floors squeaking or it sounds as if someone is walking by. Thats freaky. I thought I was crazy!!

Perhaps it is your Pipes knocking on the inner frames of your home. When you turn your shower on, the pipes may wobble slightly if they have came loose and knock against the wood inside your walls. That can be fixed but you will have to expose the pipe and screw them securely back against the inner wall. Our shower used to do that and it sounded like a knocking sound on a door, from the pipe hitting the solid wood.

Either the house is haunted or someone is playing a game. I'll hide behind the tree and chase whoever is playing....if it's paranormal - you'll still know because I'll be about five states over in five minutes.

Paranoia. It happens to me sometimes, but only when I'm home alone. So I just don't shower when I'm home alone.

It is usually just the voices in my head playing games with me. I stick them with a Qtip and they stop.
