Why does my computer just keep searching for windows updates but never give me a list?

I tried getting updates for my computer but it just keeps searching and never finishes. It just keeps going on and on. I also had driver 5 not found come up on me one time restarting after uninstalling a program if someone could help me with that too.

It can be set up so that updates are set up automatically without even letting you know that the updates are being installed. The easiest way to find out what is being installed is cancel the installation and go to the Microsoft website and install them manually.
If you think your computer is installing the automatic updates to slowly go to the website and select each update one at a time and install them that way.
