My personal time limit for a bad movie is 15 minutes. If I watch 15 minutes and I find myself staring at the wall or thinking about something I should be doing (instead of watching a movie), I either channel surf or I push the button. Life is too short to waste it by watching a bad movie. The first sign a movie is bad is when the actors get overly enthused over a line. I zap them into my personal oblivion.

I love this question.
I give a movie about 30 minutes to get to the point or do something interesting....If it doesn't show any signs at all of being interesting, I'm outta there.
That's how publishers of books work.
They will read only the first page of the transcript and decide then and there if it's worth our time.
You are probably like I am. That's probably why you asked this question....They better do something in the first 30 minutes to grab my attention or my mind will just start wandering. It's then when I realize, it's time to abandon ship.

I wont last 30 minutes if it does not grab my interest in 15 minutes I am watching something else.

I paid good money for the movie by gollie and I'm going to see the whole boring thing to the end.

Unfortunately, we watch it. I really wish I had not watched the entire Borat movie....I swear it sucked intelligence from me, just for watching it.

If it's REALLY crappy, I fast forward to the near end of the movie. I have to see how it ends...I'm the same way with books. If they suck, I skip to the last chapter.
