Tucked in behind it is a medalion...it has St. Patrick on one side and St. Michael on the other. It was blessed by a priest in 1983 and has hung in every car that I have driven since then. I have (thank you, Lord) never had an accident or received a speeding ticket in all those years. I can't imagine not having it there to help to watch over me.

I used to have a small handmade dream catcher made by a Caddo Indian woman who was a coworker.
My wife didn't like it, so she pulled it down, leaving a solitary string that still hangs there.

A necklace my boyfriend bought me that I would NEVER wear (seriously don't know what he was thinking) but I told him that I would think of him everytime I drove if I had it hanging there, so I got away with using it and not having to actually wear it. Win Win!

A pink plastic flip-flop that's an air freshener. It's so totally Nay.
I hang my pink, oversized, windshield-type sunglasses from it when I'm not wearing them. They are also totally Nay.
