I try to keep it at 75.
68 seems a little cold. At my house, 68 would be like December in the Alps.

I installed a Trane Xv80 furnace with the Xv19i air conditioning unit along with the Total Affects air filtration system and a digital thermostat...the settings are programmed to initiate heat when the temperature drops below 68 degrees and cooling above 76 degrees...

Mine is set at 74. I am a small person and get cold easily. But my husband has actually found a setting called ALASKA on the AC.
And in the winter he even found HELL for a heat setting.
No hubby is not home right now.
We get free utilities living in military housing.

i own my home and i keep mine set on 68 all the time its a good thing the temp stays good and its not so hard on your electric bill
