I've made new friends, had a change in jobs (love the job I have now), and faced new challenges. I've grown up alot during the past few years. Since I graduated high school a few years ago, alot has changed. The biggest changes for me personally have been learning to be a role model for the family and learning to be somebody that other's can look up to. I've learned to think less about myself and more about others.

At this time a year ago I had no idea the men I was in love with had found someone else. Since then, I have hit rock bottom, contemplated suicide, sought help, and pulled myself out of the abyss. He had never meant to hurt me and had wanted to continue to be my friend, so after some time, I accepted that, and have even come to like the new woman in his life. Things have gotten much better now. it may have been the best thing that ever happened to me because I finally got the mental help I needed.

My husband and I bought our first house, closed on it June 9th of last year. We had the house built, and it was so awesome. 5 days after we closed, he got an amazing job offer in another state. So, my life is a lot slower (moved to a very small town in the midwest from a larger city in the west), and we have more money to be able to buy what we like, pay all the bills, and save for the future.
