My friend was diving and found this shark tooth. I've never seen one quite this big. Im just wondering if there is any way to see maybe what kind of shark this is from? Or if it is worth anything. Just curious! :-) Any info will be helpful!

P.S. Here is a pic of it....

This is a very big tooth.

By the looks of other pictures I have seen it could possibly be a Great White, (White Pointer), just by the size of it...

I'm no zoologist so maybe check out:http://www.buriedtreasurefossils.com/great_white_transition_teeth.htm

or contact a marine biologyst.

Wow! that is pretty amazing. I would take it to a museum near you maybe they can find where it came from. hey they might give you a nice piece of change to bring home if they can exhibit it. I was thinking of a great white till I saw the size of it. it could be of something prehistoric, or of an animal way bigger we may not know about. I would say a whale but they don't really have big teeth.
