I read a book called "Jennie." The story about a family that takes in a chimp to see how human they could make him. She really became part of the family but finally they had to get rid of her. The author's explanation of the loss of Jennie and what might happened to her was written so well that I shed a few tears. It was really sad. That was the first time a book ever did that to me, and I've been reading for years.
