I have a dell inspiron e1505 with windows xp and there is a file I cannot delete, I have tried everything. It won't move from the folder it won't play. What do I do? How do I create the restore disc?

log into your computer in administratot/safe mode go to said file right click it. Chose proppertys Unselect the blocks labled read only and hidden. then select Delete that should get rid of the file!

before you ask people how to delete files, first do you know what your deleting? if you delete a file that is needed by the system you could find yourself in hot water..

go to dell support web site and ask the tech geeks first on how restore the system to its original state,,, then mess about deleting files
