Yankees are way too many games back. What needs to change? Pitchers? Coaches? Offense?

They have to play up to their potential. And they have to stop getting injured. That being said, I think they can do it. The Red Sox are NOT going to dominate the rest of the season. DiceK is really not so much of a much. Schilling is fading. And Beckett is not going to be Cy Young all season. The Yankees fell behind because of an incredible number of injuries to the pitching. This version of the Yankees going into Fenway this weekend is a different team than the Sox have seen this season.

Pitching is key, but this offense can overcome bad pitching. And they have not yet started hitting for the most part. Clemens is going to inspire and win some games. I fully expect some kids to get traded too. They are going to be there when the bell rings for the post season. Mark my words.

coaches. Yes. It's getting old right there. Change the staff. Bring in new blood. A revamp in the mix? It is needed. The players should have new and exciting strategies not the predictable ones. I have nothing against the coaches cause I respect them but it is really urgent for the Pinstripes.

But the thing is it is quite a long way to go. Anything can happen. Pitchers? Don't change them because it is just the misfortunes of being injured that is why they are hampered with losses and besides these pitchers will recover just as the season wears down to the August to September run... It's not yet late.

Release Pettitte and Clemens and go into rebuilding mode. Cut the budget by 300% and play real baseball.
