I had the same problem with two memory foam pillows that I bought from Wal-Mart. I tried everything to get the mildew out and it wouldn't go away. Most manufacturers will say their products are resistant to mildew and mold and most offer guarantees. I would return the suspect mattress to the store or manufacturer for a replacement or refund.

if you think you have a problem, invest in a non-foam mattress.
