Yup I am not very easily liked and most people are very surprised. I try and be a good person and be there for other people. Isn't it strange about people connect when you never thought that they might?

I did have a friend that I never expected to become best friends with.
In 7th grade, she and I rode the same bus to school and it seemed like we ALWAYS had to sit together. We hated each other and would roll our eyes at each other.
I don't remember why she didn't like me, but I didn't like her b/c she had red hair and freckles (I had a red-haired bully when I was younger, so red hair FREAKED me out at the time).
Then we had the same science class the following year and were seated together. Not our choice! Then, we became the best of friends because we had a hilarious sense of humor and would get in trouble for laughing so much. My grade in the class went from an A to a D and I didn't care.
We were BEST BEST friends until she moved away a few years later. That was a really sad day for me. I got to visit her a couple times after that.
I have no idea where she is now. Her name is Jennifer and I have no way of knowing what her last name is now.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane...

Yup, all the time.
I dress a certain way, so people only expect me to hang out with others like me...
But there is good in a lot of different kinds of people...
So I am buddies with many who are not exactly what you'd expect.

Yeah because I'm a into fashion but could care less how my friends dress and sometimes my "hipster" friends are like "How do you know him/her in that tone (you know the one I mean) if I bring someone around who doesn't quite fit the mold. Which is incredibly dumb on there part-- your going to miss out on knowing really cool people if you judge merely on "style"

I have three girlfriends that when I met each one we nearly ended up in a fight by the end of the night/day. But then the next time I saw them we laughed at it and really hit it off. Funny how that works sometimes.

Yes... but the forces that create a friendship are only understood by the 2 involved... and it not for anyone else to understand...

One of my best friends is very out spoken and opinionated. Many people take her the wrong way and think that she is rude. And obviously I'm a "nicegirl".

I have a few that make people raise their eyebrows. I don't care. When it comes to friendship, I'm not that conventional. I like people with different interests.
It keeps things fresh.
