but now you are telling me that your god can't give you a 800 number or give you his web site

hey, why can't you just pray, and ask your god to give me a direct answer
why is it so hard if your god really exists?

You very well know that God is not only omnipotent but omniscient and omnipresent also. God never interferes with the creation of his. He always acts as a Dhrista (onlooker). If anyone desires to contact God... that is simply not possible. But to contact a son of God who has elevated self to the stage of self realization... is possible!
To know more about God and spirituality one can refer the following web site and send the query-

You dont need an 800 number to talk to God. All you have to do is open your mind and your heart and start talking. He will listen. He is Omnipresent meaning he is everywhere. He wants to have a conversation with you but you have to be willing to listen as well as talk. God doesnt have to be high-tech because he is personal. Each persons faith is unique to them and their relationship with God is unique based on that faith. I know that when I speak to God not only does He hear me but He will answer me, perhaps not right away but in His Omnipotent time.
Instead of seeking an 800 number where some human is going to jerk you around why dont you go read the Bible. It is Gods physical word given to us to support our faith. Why dont you go talk to a pastor or other Christian about their faith and why they believe. Faith is the basis for everything a Christian does and it is through Faith that we know that God is there with us no matter what. Some times the things that go on do not make sense and seem wrong but you have to believe that God has a plan for you. Im sure this isnt the answer you want but its the best answer I can give. Faith.

proof that God exists or that he knows you and there is nothing you can keep from his knowing. Many people have come to God in the same way as you, through the only communication methods that science and inventors could produce. In the beginning was the word. i suggest you start there. of course if you have a mustard seed of faith that you can reach out from that yet dark space I'm sure He will provide you with light the rest of your way.

Prayer is the elevation of the mind and heart to God:
+ In praise of his glory
+ In petition for some desired good
+ In thanksgiving for a good received
+ In intercession for others before God
Through prayer the Christian experiences a communion with God through Christ in the Church.
"For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy." (St. Thérèse of Lisieux)
"Prayer is the raising of one's mind and heart to God or the requesting of good things from God." (St. John Damascene)
But when we pray, do we speak from the height of our pride and will, or "out of the depths" of a humble and contrite heart? (Psalm 130:1)
He who humbles himself will be exalted; humility is the foundation of prayer. Only when we humbly acknowledge that "we do not know how to pray as we ought," are we ready to receive freely the gift of prayer. "Man is a beggar before God."
With love in Christ.

You have an internal hot line called your brain. With it, you can communicate with God at any time, day or night. While you've got Him on the line, tell Him what you said about the Bible so we can watch Him smite you with his wrath!

If he did, we would have to go through many levels to get to him since he's very busy all the time... sort of like trying to get in touch with the president. But if we make a web site for ourselves, he might come across it and call us. So I guess the ball is in our court.

It's called Prayer and the Bible.
The Bible is soo Not outdated!
Why don't you try a different translation?
I've heard that "The Message" is a good version.

Believe it or not you can email the wailing wall in Jerusalem and someone will put your message in the wall for fast transmission to God. Of course if he doesn't exist it is all pretty pointless.
