I think the point is that you can't fully blossom as a person without knowledge, passion, and love. As each person experienced knowledge, passion, and love, colors bloomed everywhere and they were in color as well.

The point is changing one's perspective.

In the beginning of the Movie, Toby's Character dreams of a life like his favorite television show "Pleasentville" and his sister is perfectly content with the life that she has at present not understanding how her brother could possibly want something that "boring".

During the course of the movie, both characters (played by TMcGuire and Witherspoon) learn a lot about themselves, eachother and what life is like.

In the end, the roles are somewhat reversed where the sister loves Pleasentville and the brother is ready to go home.

It's really just a movie, just try to enjoy it for the cinematic presentation that it is :).

Pleasantville's 'point' was two-fold. One: There is no such thing as the 'good old days'. Things are never better in the past, even though it might seem that way.
Two: Individuality, passion, excitement, the unknown are what make living worth living, they are what brings true color into our lives. When we ask questions, seek answers, explore the unknown, reach beyond ourselves, those are the times when we truly grow as human beings, when we move from being two dimensional creatures into healthy living 3D wonderful human beings.

You should have some pain. They are cleaning out the pore. I recommend using hydrogen peroxide first....alcohol is too drying. I have also used the Neutrogena 3 step kit and thats works really well and I think its very mild on the skin

Laura probably likes crappy movies instead of actual good writing and acting. The movie is about finding ones true self, and what everybody who made a good point said.

Good Question It could be to point out that each person has a uniqueness about them and we should celebrate that

Or it could be that "thank god, someone gave Don Knotts a job!"
