I know here in South Africa Acer has a great warrantee...3 years. I was looking for a 19" Wide screen, HP only has a one year on their monitor although it was better looking. Dont deal too much with Asus.

Asus is a motherboard manufactures
acer is a computer manufacture (puts computers together)
so there is no comparison between the two companies for after sales service

I've got an ASUS in my computer and i'd say it works fine, but there's gotta be better out there. For one, there's no AGP port on most boards. But some really cool features for overclocking and such.
