Looks like we might just have a busy season, huh? I'm glad Barry's heading straight towards me, we need the rain so bad. Are all you Coastal residents ready for hurricane season or do you wait until the last minute?

Yeah. Hurricane season couldn`t wait to start. I live 5 miles from the gulf and to tell you the truth, tropical storm barry caught me in surprise. I'm definatly not ready quite yet for hurricane season

I am ready....it shoudn't be too hard to prepare....With all the hurricanes hitting the coast I already am prepared with batteries...flashlights and so forth...since Barry is only a tropical storm it shoudn't be too bad but anything can happen......I am leaving for a flight up north this weekend....so I am hoping that it won't turn bad....though planes can fly through rain without a problem....I don't like the thought of damage to the states Barry would hit on the way past the coast...hope this is of help

I wait until a hurricane advisory is announced for the area. Storms can be so unpredictable, it's hit or miss. I also live along the coast in Virginia where we don't worry so much, so yes, I wait.

More or less coincidental. Looks like the summertime scenario for weather in the Eastern US is setting up early this year.

A busy season means a busy work day for me... so let's hope this one's slow! :)
