you don't need to be rich it's actually easy.Go to google and search for acting agents in your area submit a photo and resume and you're done.If you are chosed then you have to make headshots which I paid about $200 for 15 pics,yeah it's expensive,but if you really want to became model/actor and you have to risk!

Why do you need to be super rich to become a model?
Most models were "ordinary" girls when they signed with the top modeling agencies.
If you want to be a professional model, you must live in New York City.
The current height/weight requirements for professional NY models are: height 5'9" and weight 165 pounds.

Hmm. I don't believe you have to be super rich! I know that Paulina Porizkova (big model in the 80's) was impoverished.
I think the first step is you have to be shockingly tall, thin, and have dramatic (if not perfect) features--BIG features that can wear a lot of divergent "looks".
Then too, it's about getting a break. Look up the large agencies in big cities (probably best east coast?) and then get on in there. I bet if you, in fact, have the look--they'll sign you. (They'll help polish you up, if what I've seen on t.v. is right.:P)

You have it backwards honey. The supermodels started at like age 14 or earlier and BECAME rich from modeling.

All you have to do is take pictures at a professional place and start a portfolio and bring it to agencies you may have to start off small but within months u will be on your way as long as you have a pretty smile and a nice skinny but Tall shape and at least 5'7

go to the mall and look for those little stands that say "model search" and then add your name... it actually works i have had tons of friends become small models, but if they are good enough can get big

dont have to be rich depends on yur age... send some photos to agencys or better yet take some photos with you to an agency.
