Depends on how you define "friends." I mean, there's best friends, mere acquaintances, social obligations, etc.

In some respect, they do reflect the person though. I have a wide variety of friends, not all necessarily real close, but they are a reflection of my ecclectic tastes and liberal views. I'm so liberal that I'm even willing to be friends with conservatives, LOL!

a person will usually have a variety of friends....not everyone will have the same interests. if that were the situation, then everyone would be boring and blah.

It depends. All of my close friends are good upstanding poeple, and I like to consider myself a good upstanding person too, but I do have friends who are more on the.....um..odd...side if you know what I mean, but i don't hang out with them often. I just hope that one day they'll choose a better path.

I think most people tend to hang out with people who share their viewpoints and opinions despite the differences in lifestyles.

I think it's 50/50..there are groups of folks who only interact with a "certain" kind of group then there are people like me who do not judge based on a certain standard.
