I am so attracted to shiny things. Once, when I was in the 8th grade quite a few years ago, I saw something glint in the sun on the sidewalk after school. Since I am attracted to shiny things I went to it. It turned out to be a beautiful silver claddagh ring that I still own to this day.

Late edit; ^ ^ ^ WTF?? ^ ^ ^ Is this personal? I prefer satin stainless to the shiny because I like the patterns smooth is touchy feely but not very interesting. I also like the iridescence shine on bugs and butterflies. Never owned a shiny brand new car but had some pretty nifty flat painted shoes once. Its OK s'pose depending on the item I am very fussy with such things.

Uh, not so much for me. I AM attracted to cameras, camera equipment, and various other electronic gadgets being a true male.... thankfully! I also like bikes, for which my dream is to have a house with a garage with 7+ bikes in it. Why so many bikes? Ohhhh, so I can go to the garage and say "Which bike do I want to ride today"... from the choices of racing, mountain and touring bikes. They each have different geometry and are nice. Ahhh... thanks!
