i have had tremendous problems with my iud, has anyone else? (mirena)?

I GOT MY IUD INSERTED 3 YEARS AGO, AND HAVE NOTHING BUT TROUBLE. IT HAS STARTED WITH CRAMPS, FATIGUE, SEVERE MOOD SWINGS, I HAVE NOTHING BUT BAD DAYS, AND THEY SEEM TO GET WORSE!!! I NOW HAVE ACNE, OILY SKIN, AND DEPRESSION. I STARTED TO GET SICK, ONLY TO GO TO THE DOCTORS AND FIND OUT I HAVE A BACTERIAL INFECTION CAUSED BY THE MIRENA. PLEASE HELP.

i think it's the problem with the hormones in mirena that causes you to have that side effects. bacterial infections are cured with anti biotics. i think you should weigh the pros and cons of other methods that you can use. see http://www.fwhc.org/birth-control/index.htm for more information on methods on birth control. also download the "birth control comparison chart" so you can compare each methods easier.
i think it's the same with pills, the same side effects could occur and also pills makes me have yeast infection almost yearly.

an IUD is never a good idea. You're putting foreign body into your body, and of course, you're body is attacking it. TALK TO YOUR GYNO, get the thing removed, and take an oral contraceptive.

yes ...i do smile .....and that smile is from the heart .....it can be called a reflex action because u don't know why the other person is smiling and you don't even intend to smile but then also you smile....its something sudden ...and when you see someone special smiling the smile becomes bigger .

there are other ways -i had a friend who didnt keep up with her doctr visits with the iud and she died. please talk to your doctor about other options
