it is in my books. individually, the only rap/ hip-hop artist I ever enjoyed became Tupac.properly, I style of agree, basic and Lupe Fiasco are all good. i admire "Jesus Walks" via Kanye West. No offense, yet i do no longer think of rap is dying. i think of the genuine music is what's dying out. while Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Lee Hooker, the large Bopper, Elvis, a million/2 of the Beatles, and extremely some different artists died, it is while music died. i think of company united statesa. ruined music for good. Synthesized beats, lyrics that make the main women individuals, talk approximately drugs, and violence ain't my ingredient, guy. The day I hear a rap song w/ certainly musical gadgets and first rate lyrics, i will take lower back what I pronounced. observe: i do no longer think of it is honest that there are musicians who spend hours working in direction of their instuments, and placed their heart and soul into their songs, and that they gets a commission so little, while in comparison with those Hip-Hoppers who make the main women individuals, and use drugs and stuff, who gets a commission tens of millions! All they are are creations from their checklist manufacturers, in actuality.

Yes, rap is dead. Get two random albums by two different rap artists and I guarantee you the lyrics will have the same subject material: girls shaking their @ss, bragging about their material possessions, profane lyrics, or hating someone.

I certainly hope so, although I have seen no such indication as of yet! It needs to be buried - PERMANENTLY! Rap exemplifies all that is wrong with today's society; it is cultural poison. No, I don't think it is dead yet, but with everyone's help, we CAN kill it before it destroys all of US!

I hope so, if I not I'll be glad to bury it. It has no redeeming value to society.
