“Women are irresponsible and unaccountable?”
Several of the anti-feminist male posters have used this line in their answers as a stand-alone statement. I want to understand what is meant by this statement – can you give some specific examples please? To what issues does it apply? Do you really mean ALL women, or will you admit to over-generalizing?

Derovious, your post does not even come close to addressing the question. All you did was use the opportunity to rant about someting that irks you personally.

To those who suggested I was taking it personally or wasting my time dwelling on it, this line is used repeatedly certain regular posters, and I really want to know what they mean when they say it.

"“Women are irresponsible and unaccountable?”

This idea comes from the prejudice that has excited towards women since biblical times. Like women are weak, saints/w*hores, mentally inferior and so on.

A statement like that shows prejudice, bigotry and living still in those ancient times.

Suggested short exercise, for the ones that tend to use too much that sentence:

Please change the word "women", with any other human group of your choice. Like:

Men are irresponsible and unaccountable
Blacks are irresponsible and unaccountable
Mexicans are irresponsible and unaccountable
Caucasians are irresponsible and unaccountable
Homosexuals are irresponsible and unaccountable
X religious group of people are irresponsible and unaccountable

etc..etc..

It sounds absurd? Yes, because to be irresponsible and unaccountable has nothing to do with gender or a group of people. It relates to the behaviour of one person, independently of gender or race etc,

I have read many things said about women here and this one seems like a generalization but saying “Women are irresponsible and unaccountable?” has some truth to it.

Maybe it has something to do with crime vs punishment women getting off easy or maybe abortion or maybe how guys do all the date asking or maybe how women get out of speeding tickets or maybe how women aren't expected to help men like the other way around or how women don't pay for men or how women arent drafted or how the other poster above me said men open the doors but not women for men or how women kill their husband but get 3 years for self defense when he was not doing anything. Maybe it is about how they cry to get out of things. Women seem to have so many more choices for them then men do. Isnt that what feminism is about choices ?

Also I have read that statement and don't think I saw it as a "stand alone" statement, those guys say it with other things to back it up.

It sounds like it is an over-generalisation.

What is it in reference to?

For example, if it is about abortion in countries like America, it could be referencing the fact that women can sleep around and if they accidentally impregnate themselves, it will be their choice alone if they want to destroy all responsibility.
On the other hand, a man is forced to take responsibility be the mothers actions even if this responsibility is only financial contributions.
Personally, I would like to see the father having as much chance to acquire primary custody of the child (provided it is born and the parents are seperated) as the mother has. I believe this is the primary injustice here.

“Women are irresponsible and unaccountable?”

*YAWN*

It's a 'one size-fits-all' slogan. It's part of their mantra; they intoxicate themselves by repeating this slogan over and over and over and over... They are simple creatures; just ignore the behavior. They have no idea what they are cranking about. We know it, and that's all that matters. In the grand scheme of things they - and their brain-dead slogans - are completely inconsequential.

EDIT: A certain poster, who we shall call 'N' has requested an example.
Here's a fresh one - check out this poster's convoluted excuse for a question. The phrase is actually incorporated in the first sentence of his rant, so intoxicated is he by the sound of his own mantra:

"From what I read so far
Women are free to act irresponsible and be held unaccountable for their action and the feminists dont mind to keep it that way."

The post goes on and on, one long, confused, disjointed diatribe against women - with no 'question' in evidence, anywhere:

EDIT:
'N' - your turn now, I've answered your question so please answer mine. Where did you learn that "women...[can] impregnate themselves..."
WOMEN CAN IMPREGNATE THEMSELVES???

EDIT:
Shreck added: 'Also I have read that statement and don't think I saw it as a "stand alone" statement, those guys say it with other things to back it up"
WRONG! Check this out:

Why are you dwelling on such silly s--- and taking it personally? Do you feel irresponsible and unaccountable? I've heard people say that Asians can't drive, don't even have eyes wide enough to SEE to drive. Do you think I'm paying attention to such nonsence or tring to get some deep meaning from it? NOOOOO !

Try to know the difference between chicken s--- and chicken salad...and in the mean time, DON'T cast your pearls before the swine...

I'm convinced that some of the anti-feminist males here are using their trollism as a cover for the trauma they suffered at the hands of the girl on the playground who called them poopyhead.

Women cannot help themselves when it comes to anything mechanical or multistepped. Techology befuddles them, and keep the guiding hand of a man (or men) to keep them plodding along merrily.

Many have said that they are mechanically or technologically sure footed, but the question remains. Are they simply stating this to appear stronger than they are or simply don't understand there is a difference between thinking about a fix and implementing it.

While I cannot say ALL women suffer from this affliction, more than enough to form a majority do. And majority seems enough to label men as aggressive, sex-driven brutes, so right back in your face comes this generalization. Live by example, or get off my lawn. Its that easy.

Rio: I resent that, I could have lived with poopyhead, it was the raspberry that put me over the top.

It means they are immature idiots that don't have a clue that it's women that are responsible and accountable...and they're just jealous! : )

As far as I am concerned, any little monkey that would make that statement doesn't deserve the time it took you to post the question. Report them and move on.

This is a very narrow minded statement made by someone with an obviously low IQ and lack of emotionally mature mentality.

It means that the poster has never been close enough to a woman to know anything about them.
