He definitely will not be cut unless he is sent to prison. Even if he is he still might not get cut. If he was, though, Joey Harrington would be his backup. I really don't care anymore. Vick has severely pissed me off with all of his antics (I live in Georgia and am a Falcons fan). Unless he changes his ways, and quick, I would like for him to get cut. Joey Harrington isn't horrible, he just needs to find a system that fits him.

I do not believe that Vick will be released and no other team will be willing to pick up his outrageous contract. The Falcons have to be really second guessing themselves on trading Matt Schaub away in the off season. Vick will get a 2 game suspension from the league (just for Show) Harrington will guide them to 2 losses and Vick will be back.

he wont be dropped just because of the dog fighting allegations. the falcons shot themselves in the foot by giving Vick another chance rather than hand the reigns over to Matt Schaub. If Vick gets convicted of anything he might be released, more for the common sense that he'll be in jail for a year? but he probably wont be convicted unless some amazing proof comes up. and he will likely just be released at the end of this season and the falcons will be scrambling to find a suitable quarterback and will not be a very competative team.

Ok The shaub trade came before the dog fighting came up. He talk to Blank, and I think that he was told that the last straw if anything eles comes up your gone, because Vick seemed unsteady in the interiew after it. I think vick lied about being in to dog fighting and it is gonna come out. So yes I think that Vick will be release or traded after this year unless something happens soon with VA. Joey has not been in this Off, and hasn't shown much at the other places he been,so it may give DJ Shockey his chance, and he showed in GA that he has talent, when given the chance.

Michael Vick is not going to be released by the falcons. He is still in a 25 million dollar contract and if the falcons were to cut him they would still have to pay him plus it would still be on their salary for the remainder of the contract .So as much as people hate to say it no.7 will be a falcon for a long time.

Vick is alot better than Joey, so unless the Falcons can find someone equal or better than Vick, then they won't let him go. He is still a good qb, as long as he doesn't get into anything else.

They can't release him because they don't have anyone else. They have too much money tied up in Vick also. If he gets suspended Harrington will have to play. Maybe changing teams will be good for him. How is that Vick-LT trade working out for Atlanta?

Should they release him, NO- at this point he's still Innocent. (that could change) He's not the best passer in the NFC, probably not even in the division. but he does bring something to the game that most quarterbacks don't.
If Goodell suspends him, the Falcons better hit the free agent market and pick up a quality backup, Harrington already proved he's not the guy who can carry your team to the playoffs.

I highly, HIGHLY, doubt it. He's still their franchise quarterback, and they just traded Schaub. So don't count on him being released. Traded, more possible, but still not likely. Disciplined somehow by either the team, or the commissioner, or both, very very possible. He should be, also, dogfighting is a disgusting thing and anybody who is caught participating in, or facilitating, dog fights should be punished the fullest extent the law allows. My best guess is he may be suspended for a couple of games, tops.

Nope, and he won't get jail time, he will hire too good of lawyers, and has no shortage of excuses for why he 'didn't' know what was going on.
The Falcons chose to stick with Vick when they traded Schaub, and he is a dynamic player, he simply needs work on accuracy.
