Since when is it ok for anyone to use violence to get their way? I think we have reached a point that people are intelligent and can figure other ways besides a bombing threat to get their point heard. Bush date raped the united states while we were still high from the tragedy of the 911 attacks. He took advantage of everyones enraged sorrow to pass bills ridiculously soon after the attacks, like the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. A.C.T. and take our families to war while redirecting the target and trying to finish the job his father couldnt. Yes i think its really good that hussein is no longer dictating iraq, there have been victories.. well ok, that one victory, but, as the intoxication from 911 has well worn off, isnt it time to grow up and handle these situations like the adults we all are? Maybe if they were treated like the kings that had to go to war with its soldiers.. THEN we would have no war. But instead its a room of over the hill politicians sending our teenagers from war.

when i was a kid other girls always tried to make up lies and try to fight me, i always laughed and walked away, i knew then it was stupid. and as far as the innocent lives taken at 911. it is extremely tragic, but how many soldiers have died? i really believe in punishing the jerks that did it, cowardly jerks that hide in caves and brainwash other people that its so righteous.. if it was so righteous he would have been first in the kamakazee line, but either way, the war took a drastic turn, its no longer focused on defending 911 but releaving iraq.. 2 totally different things, not a reason Operations Iraqi Freedom, should have spawned from the september attacks

War is never ok.
It is, however, sometimes unavoidable.
Like it or not, there are people in this world that don't like you and I just because of who we are.
Hitler didn't have any rational reason for hating jews, he just did. And, he needed to be opposed.
I hate it that such needs arise, but there's nothing to gain by pretending they don't.

The people behind this war would never admit they were acting as bullies. Commander Bush is too much of a bully to even consider it, and the generals just do his bidding. The troops do the generals' bidding. War industries are reaping huge profits, so they don't care, and average people, like the voters, have been duped into thinking the war is about terrorism. It was like this during the early phases of the Vietnam War, too, except that the boogeyman was Communism that time around. But back then, there was a draft, and college students began protesting. When the protests got loud enough, the "Hawks," as we called them, had to pull out of Vietnam. You are correct in thinking that when the world's largest military forces invades a Third World nation and destroys their way of life, it is bullying.

It's nice to see that you can forget the lives of 3,000+ people who were innocently murdered. I for one do not. I like that we are sending a clear message to these terrorists. No one teaches their kid not to stand up to the bully. I teach my kids NOT to be the bully.... but if there is a bully... and they are hasseling you or they pick a fight with you... you end it.. and you make sure they never want to do it again. You see, bullies aren't interested in talking... they see it as a sign of weakness. And when do you finally say enough is enough and take the bullies out?

And yes... what a shame it is that we have the Patriot Act... why would we want to gain information from our enemies to protect ourselves? (believe me... the government doesn't care about your conversation) Yet everyone cries that we should have had more intelligence before 9/11... (which we did have some intelligence but thanks to Slick Willy our intelligence agencies were gutted and not allowed to share info.) I for one would rather not experience another 9/11... and if they want to listen to my conversation because they feel it may be important... than they can go right ahead... I have nothing to hide.

So you're saying it's OK to let a bully beat up on innocent children? Using your logic, we should never have fought WWII and simply allowed Hitler and Tojo to conquer country after country while we walked away laughing. Silly of us to get involved!
By the way, I was never intoxicated or on a high over 9/11. To suggest that people were is sick. 9/11 was a tragedy of immense proportion, no one should have been high over it.

So my kids don't grow up to be a bunch of Left wing nut cowards, that's why I teach them to stand up for themselves. Clintion backed down to the bully and the Bully kicked our a$$ for 8 years and made our country weak,

I am Former Military so let's take a walk down the CLINTION MEMORY LANE SHALL WE, 93 WTC, 96 Khobar Towers 19 Airman dead 300 Wounded, 98 2 U.S. Embassy bombings iN Africa, 98 Clintion bombed Iraq with the same intell Bush had, 98 Clintion declined an offer from the Sudan to acquire OSAMA Bin Laden, 2000 U.S.S. Cole blowing a hole in a warship, 2001 9-11 took 6 to 8 years to plan and train for 9-11 who was president for 99% Clintion, but Clintion was to busy TO DEFEND OUR COUNTRY FROM THESE terror attacks because he was breaking THE law or committing Adultry, or Pergury, ETC. your a left wing Loser,

That is not what I teach my kids. If a bully sucker punches them I tell them to punch that bully right in the face. Worked for me when I was growing up. If you let the bully take your lunch money everyday is he going to stop taking it? No he will keep taking it until you do something about it. When we are talking about Innocent women and children being slaughtered it brings a whole new level of bullying. That is what Saddam was. Now women in Iraq are able to go to school, serve in government etc. Too bad you have been brain washed by the liberal drive by media. The only thing they know how to report on is number of soldiers killed and terrorist attacks. You never hear them talk about the progress. The link below is what the Libs don't want you to see.

Oh, my.

My children are not taught to cower in the face of those who wish them harm. They are taught to defend themselves.

I'm sure you would have felt better about yourself if someone had smacked you and you in turn knocked them out . . .

It is part of human nature to fight when threatened.

First off, I wouldn't want my child to cower to anyone who intimidated them or made them feel threatened. True, in some cases, children should turn their backs to those who are bullying - and just walk away.. But in some cases, it doesn't work, and physical violence can occur.. Either way, my child would be aware of self defense methods. I'd want to teach my child to stand up for his or herself.

AND ARE YOU AWARE THAT BULLYING OR NIT PICKING IS DIFFERENT THAN THE ATTACKS OF SEPTEMBER 11TH, OR THE CONTINUOUS SUICIDE BOMBINGS AND BEHEADINGS?

If you disprove of the war, or the acts of our soldiers, feel free to kick rocks and leave this country. The worst possible thing that could happen to this country is for its citizens to turn their backs on our soldiers, and start takin' sides with the enemy. PHYSICAL FORCE is sometimes needed. Sometimes 'debates' don't go as planned.

My opinion is, you've got three strikes. One: Warning, Two: Make a change, Three: You're out. It's simple. If you've killed citizens from my country, be prepared to face your own doom.

Do what's morally right.

Personally, the one time I was bullied, my parents told me to fight back. As for the war, I'm pretty sure it was Clinton that didn't finish the job the first time. Would you rather they come here to blow up a few more buildings? If america doesn't stand up to them, they will be here. I do think they need to come up with another strategy to get it over with so that our troops can come back home.
