Now that's a gross exaggeration - most men know perfectly well they're not always right. I really resent that kind of broad stereotyping; why I myself was wrong once, in 1963 (or was it '64?), and I know literally dozens of men who will also cheerfully admit that they have been wrong about something in the past!

not just men, and not all men.
Certainly there are Arrogant people, I too have been afflicted at times. But there are also all other types of people.
Just move on and don't stick yourself onto this experience. There are so many others to be had.

I think it is because their mothers already told them they were wrong-and the mothers were right. Men are usually wrong, so let them think they are right, life would be much eaiser in the long.

I'm not trying to generalize here but it is because if they don't understand the workings of their mind they tend to avoid confronting their own weaknesses, thus turning things around and appearing like they ain ever wrong.

Same reason women always think they are right. Everyone always thinks they are right and that their way is best.
Now a guy (or girl) who can admit that they are wrong - that's a keeper!

because they don't have prain to think more openly to realize that they are wrong
they always do what they want without thinking, they may think later or don't thnk at all

Depends what they think they right about. When it comes to money my husband usally is dead on. However, if it comes to sex then I'm dead on. What does he think he's right about?
