We are two guys fm Mumbai who have been invited to a fancy dress party.We have decided to go as a newly wed couple. :-)
Since he is tall broad and ver macho, he will be the husband. I am short (5'5") chubby but not fat (56 kgs or 130 pounds) and fair, so I have to be the wife.
What shd we wear to look like a newly wed couple?

No we are not gay. It is just that we want our costume to be different and a success. I dont think anyone else would do this.
So if I manage to look ok, it would be a success.

I observed u say "be" the girl not dress up as the girl, but I take that as a typo.
Given ur height,weight,complexion,etc, u defy seem appropriate to be the girl.U seem quite girlish,even ur name "Jaya" is a girls name.
Congrats on hitching such a hot husband.To be a soni kudi newly wed girl -
Get a full body wax and a long hair wig.
Sari is a must, red or pink will look good on u since u r a fair girl.
Henna and nailpolish on hands and feet also imperative & gajra in ur hair.
Lots of gold jew,espeacially bangles (red glass bangles & gold,alternate),
chain, managalsutra,all rings(finger,toe,ear,nose),
mang tikka,payal,etc.
Full make up - lipstick, liner, kajal,bindi, sindoor, blush,eye shadow,etc.
And very imp,show ur love for each other,lot of kissing hugging & he shd feel u,grope u,cup u,squeeze u while dancing, etc.
And after the party,he will probably want to spend a suhag raat with his pretty wife.

U wear a Saree which has heavy work . The saree color must be preferably gold/ red/maroon. Have lot of jewellery. Let the other guy wear a shervani of light color preferably cream / light brown / white with a dhupatta that matches your saree mostly with shoes that matches the dhupatta . Hope u will win the competition.

Ur man i.e the person to be dressed like ur husband should wear Gurtha Paijama or servani.in red or maroon color and ivory bottom.U can wear Sari with lots of jardosi workl specially in maroon or red colr accomoanied with suitable hairstyle and acessories.
