Any flower/plant with a strong lemony smell will help repel mossies, they dislike citrus scents. Some would be lemon scented geraniums (palogonium) - sometimes sold as Mossie repellers, lemon verbena, southernwood, wormwood, cotton lavender (Santolina) lemon balm, and citronella plant. Just brush them with your hand to release the scent. And of course citrus trees while in bloom are mossie repelants too.
Also some plants with a strong scent just help to hide you from them.

Actually there is a plant related to a scented geranium crossed with the extremely strong scented lemon grass being sold at garden centers for the last few years as a mosquito repellent plant...it's leaves are slightly fuzzy and it will bloom small lavender flowers if allowed to..to repell the mosquitoes the plant needs to be brushed across with your hand to release the fragrance of sweet lemon, pleasant to humans, but obviously not to the flying pests..it also repels black flies...best planted in a pot and kept close to your side in partial sun, bringing it inside for the winter

Geraniums help, but mosquito plants work much better. I've used them before. Marigolds are good pest control for the garden, but I don't know about mosquitos.

Mosquitos hunt by heat, not smell. Their eyes are infrared detectors. No smell will keep them away. Build a bat cove. Bats eat thousands of mosquitos every night.
