I just read that baby bush has a 23% approval rating. Not trying to be mean or anything, but who are these people? I'm serious. 23% isnt a big number, but i thought it would be lower. Please dont just leave mean answers, I really want to know who these people could be? Are they the rich people getting all the tax breaks? Any ideas?

they only pay attention to their shows so they could no longer see it. yet right here is your confirmation: "probably Bush’s call only isn't dirt to any extent further. The Washington submit/ABC ballot asked respondents to cost Bush’s performance for the 1st time once you think approximately that December 2008, whilst maximum powerful 33 proportion rated it truthfully and sixty six proportion rated it negatively. What the pollster got here upon is that at modern-day 40 seven proportion approve and 50 % disapprove of Bush’s overall performance. That approval quantity is precisely comparable to Barack Obama’s in probably the main present day submit/ABC ballot." i've got a $a hundred invoice that announces a 365 days from now Bush could have a extra physically powerful score than Obama.

Rassmussen has it at 32% and has another 29% that neither approve or disapprove and 39% that disapprove. If you are a Rassmussen Reports member you can drill down further. There are many states, Texas, Idaho and Georgia, for instance where over 50% actually approve of Bush.

The numbers get even more confusing when you look at other breakdowns. He gets high approval on the economy, he gets high approval from southern hispanics, and gets high approval nation-wide from white males. The only thing that is consistent is that he gets about 92% overall disapproval from everyone on the handling of Iraq.

Just remember that Abraham Lincoln had approval ratings worse than Bush, the difference is that when Lincoln was gone people were sorry.

Baby Bush? As long as the republican ratings stay from 71-74% who cares what the rest of the ratings are! It's like Laura Bush remarked that they don't believe the 23% which is way off, thats the congress'
s rating!

RCP has the President's approval rating at 33.3%. I have no idea where you are getting 23%, since you will not cite a source anybody can check. I can only assume you are listening to Air America and NPR who hate the nation anyway.

RealClearPolitics.com takes an average of national polls and comes up with the number. Congress (the Democrats) are at 32.6%, so they are doing a worse job than the President.

Living in white bread Kansas I can tell you that most of the people around here always vote their party regardless of the candidate. They would vote Satan if he was a republican. And after they vote for someone they will stand by that to the death. These are the people approving of the administration.

Of course to be fair there are lots of smart people who do believe the presidency has been great. That is their right.

There are things I still agree with Bush on and there are things I strongly disagree with him. The vitriolic hatred of the left motivates me to stand up for what I do agree with him on because the idiotic personal attacks against Bush because of a disagreement in policy is beyond disgusting. I still respect the office of the presidency and do not wish for my country to look bad or foolish, even if it seems to be the lefts greatest wish at the moment.

do you understand that polls that are taken in new york city, los angeles, San Fransisco, are not what the rest of the country feels. if pools were so good Kerry would have been president without an election.....just saying they mean NOTHING

Polls are like terrorists. You torture them long enough and they'll say what you want them to say. Yeah, I remember John Kerry was supposed to sweep the elections in 04 and well, we all know how that turned out. Rich? Not hardly. We're a single income family of about 85k a year, 3 kids. We enjoy that 1000k per kid we get. We've gotten the biggest tax returns EVER since President Bush got them passed in 2001. You Libs have worn that "tax breaks for the rich" lie out. Get some new ammo.

Well to understand who those 23% are, you have to understand the science behind statistical analysis and how polls are taken.

You're probably looking at a poll of about say..1250 that are supposed to statistically representatives of the nearly 300,000,000 Americans. So 23% of those 1250 leaves you with about 288 people who approve of the President; with a +/- 5% degree margin of error in either direction.

Here comes the fun part,

If the statisticians are correct in assuming that the 1250 who were polled are indeed statistically representative of the nation, that means that about 69,000,000 approve of his job; and that my dear is SCARY!!

Good Day.
