BEFORE you are paid, put together a plan for how you will spend that money. Make sure that INCOME - OUTGO = EXACTLY ZERO!

Ensure that you "spend" some of your money into savings (to build a safety/emergency fund) and "spend" some of your money on debt reduction!

1. Prioritize what debt to pay off first. Focus on paying off the highest interest debt first (usually credit cards).

2. Cut up your credit cards.

3. Track your expenses and look for ways to cut your spending. (Do you really need to go to Starbucks three times a week?)

4. Any extra money you get (bonus from work, gifts from parents, etc), force yourself to use the money to pay down your debt instead of buying a "special treat".

The key to all this is being disciplined. Tell a friend what you're trying to do and get them to encourage you. These folks can also help you as well:

Consider getting a second job, to pay the debt off. Consider running out ALL purchases of prepared food, take sandwiches or fruit or soup to work, consider eating rice and beans (cheapest food products that provide necessary nutrient), if you must have meat in your diet consider eating ground chuck, consider cutting out all out side entertainment.

Consider visiting this link it has a lot of information on getting debt free. http://www.daveramsey.com/

Pay off your debt as fast as you can, and STOP all unnecessary spending until you are debt free.
This is the only workable solution, Do it.
