everyday I come in here to contribute data and see this question my multiple people. Why waste 5pts. oh well I will tell you.

The earth is globaly semetrical meaning even all around for many reasons. for one semetrical force of gravity holding it together. also it can hold pressure.. ever wonder why an egg is round? that is because it can withstand more pressure. if it was boxed or flat, it would break twice as easy. gas trucks that deliver gasoline are also round for the same reason. a mask that you would wear to go DEEP sea diving would have to be round because the farthure in the ocean you go the greater the pressure till it could actually crush you if gone deep enough. the round mask on your head protects you also the mask itself will not collaps if deep enough because it is spherical. when diving in a pool ever wonder why your ears pop or even hurt. thats pressure.

Oh well the earth isn't really round, its a bit flat at the poles. I would have to say gravity.

The gravity of the matter clumping together during the formation of the earth and the rotation of the Earth caused its roundivity.

I believe something that no one else can tell you because it is my theory. This states that there is matter that pushes on all sides of the earth as if it were an air bubble in water being formed by the force around it. The matter also explains how the space ships can fly. The fuel is pushing on this mysterious matter.

Actually, it's not.

It's an oblate spheroid. It's wider at the equator than it is from the north pole to the south pole.
