For me if he would hug me and tell me he would not know what to do without my support and love. Finish it off with a big hug or a single flower....

To me I think a thing that will make me feel more appreaciated RESPECT! That means more than anything.
I have been in an abusive relationship and I always thought that i would never meet someone that would do the right thing for me now I am married and have one of the best marriages that I could ever ask for.
Communication is the key for me!!
We have been together for almost 5 years married for 1 and not a thing has changed only for the better in my house. It is wonderful. It is all about being loved and respected in my book.
People show this in many ways. My husband for instance gives me the passionate affection that I feel that I need and also talks to me if he thinks there is a problem. He is not afraid to talk with me and I mean talk NOT ARGUE!! It is wonderful.

I know this is for the ladies, but I have been with the same lady for many years. I always listen to what she has to say, I back her up on her decisions. And I give her a massage at least 3 times each week, She works hard as a CNA at the hospital 6 nights a week, she deserves to be taken seriously.

you need to get the book the 5 love languages.. each person has a diffrent way of feeling loved.. as you can see from all the diffrent answers you got.. you need to find out what makes her tick and then you will know how she will feel loved the best.. some need quaility time.. me for instance.. some need encouraging words, touch is another one , acts of kindness , some are gifts.. so you need to find out then shower her with the one she needs.. :)

I love when my husband actually takes notice of the things I've done that day, and compliments me on my work. I feel like he's not taking me for granted when he notices the effort I put in.

The dishes...lol
Really, I would feel more appriciated if he would do something unexpected that showed he thinks about me when we aren't together. Like flowers every once in a while or something I would like without having to tell him. He could do the dishes too!

A man should always treat a woman lovingly and respectfully, and tell her how much he loves and appreciates her.

Acknowledge and appreciate what she does around the house, with the kids, etc. And mean it!

Nothing he says will matter... it is what he DOES for me that counts. The smallest things matter but for the long term nothing beats his 100% faithfulness.
