ME! I think Tattoos are a phase. I mean I liked Barney when I was 5, had a got a tattoo, today I'd be walking around with Barney on my body. Also, I only have 2 piercings (One on each ear) I don't like all of the holes. They look gross. Especially those big ones where you can see throught to the other side. I mean where is the common sense?

It relies upon on what worldwide places you're bearing on. In 1st international worldwide places, the two adult males an females face equivalent hardships. adult males might face dropping their infants after divorce and are often placed down via society without society understanding they're doing it. on the different hand, females in 1st international worldwide places nevertheless face subject concerns like rape, low earnings, problems having infants whilst working, no maternity leave, or maybe discrimination interior the area of labor. nonetheless, females do have reward that adult males do no longer. In third international worldwide places or something in between, there is not any question who has it worse.

Have heard too many people complain about tatoos and piercings. They decide they don't like them later. I just never wanted either.

Ha ha, I have become a bit of a pain in the a*s telling people all the time in the Languages section "Do not get this tattoo"
(I send them to this page, #2
http://www.uweb.ucsb.edu/~hcritz/commandments.htm).

Here is the thing: I am not against tattooing. I have LOTS of it. I am just sick of what it has become. I cover my tattoo work with long sleeves in most public situations, not only as modesty, but so as not to encourage people.

Most people of the present "tattoo-getting generation" are too retarded to make a good decision about it. They approach it with their usual "entitled" attitude: "I can do whatever I want. It's my choice. It's means whatever I want" etc etc. While I support their right to "do what they want," I am really sickened by their lack of understanding that society/culture extends far beyond peronal want...and by their lack of understanding (or interest in understanding) tattoo art HISTORICALLY and AESTHETICALLY.

If you really want to see THE most retarded forum/board on Y!A , go to the Tattoo one (it's under Fashion & Beauty...figures). I have to not go there, lest I get banned from all the flaming that I'd give to every poster.

Your question is confusing, but I think I understand. Using your body as an art project is always fun, and you assert your independence by controlling the patterns of your skin. Piercings are sparkly, which for some reason makes people believe it adds to their sex appeal. It is a look. Be accepting.

Yes, there is still some out there including me. I particularly do not consider doing any on my body, after a certain age, i personally think it does not look so hot. I am still young but i do plan to get old "gracefully".

It is a sin to get tattoos or pierce yourself.

1 Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

If you are a Christian and you've done this you have repenting to do

Yes. Some wont because of pain, some because of religious reasons, some because its looked down on in their workplace. It's their body and their choice so why put them down for it?
