I believe that this has to do with optimistism and negativity. If you're negative about things, then you would believe that death is just the results of the end of life, but if you were positive, you would think that death is going to be a new experience.
In my opinion, I think that death is a new thing for us. Life was one phase, and death's going to be the next, where we can experience things being dead and maybe looking back in the past of life and say that we're experiencing something new now...out of the world.

Hi,
Death is the definite closing of the chapter that we call 'life'. Was there anything before, is there anything after? Was birth the beginning or the end? Birth as we look at it from a living point of view was the start but if there was something there before, could it have been classed from that perspective as 'the end'? Is death a return to an existence that was before? All we can do is live our lives in a way that we feel is right and good for our spiritual development. And wonder!

death to me is a beginning of another existence in this world. life is a cycle and death is part of living our lives. the inordinate fear of death gives us the chance to set a just value for life and the essence of living. we fear as if it is the end of everything we exist for, but the fact is that it is a part of life, and to reject it is to reject life itself.
death not merely ends life; it also bestows upon it a silent completeness, snatched from the hazardous flux to which all things humans are subject. death is the eternal rest for the living soul exhausted from being in this world. in the end, it is the only thing that would free us from the bondage of living a wretched a life. an escape to the reality of the world we are living today.
it teaches us the greatest lesson of all, the value of life. death is the payment for life and all it entails. it makes us realize that life is so short that we must live it to the fullest, lvingeach day like it is the last. we have so much life ahead of us, so let's enjoy it and do things worthy enough for the good of our own selves and for the world.
you don't get to choose how you're going to die. or when. you can only decide how you're going to live. now.

Your reasoning to asking this question makes a lot of sense. If death really is the end, what is the point of living just to die? The link I just posted is to an article entitled: Does Death end it all? It gives the Bible's viewpoint on death. Why we die. What happens when we die. And what will happen to all the people that have died. I hope you enjoy this magazine. I am sure it will answer your question clearly.

Use your mind. I've seen death and it is the end. People stop moving, then start to smell and then the maggots.
Be thankful for this gift of life, but remember, it is precious only because it is rare. Embrace freedom and reject children's stories and the myths of those that lie to you about eternal life.

I think that death will eventually lead to greater existence but not until God has walked the earth again. You will be put to rest until God comes again and then if you are saved you will be given eternal life.

When we realize that our birth is nothing but a journey towards death; we will understand that the death is also the beginning towards the birth.
There is no end, no escape, but the transformation.
Just a endless journey.
