It is Ricky ponting who made his test debut at the age of 20 against Srilanka at Perth where he was out for a dubious lbw decision for 96 in his first Test innings in 1995.

The only player in the Australian Cricket Team who is not an Australian is Andrew Symonds, who was born on 9th June, 1975 at Birmingham, England.
He made his ODI debut in 1998 and Test Debut in 2004.

not sure but all the people saying mark waugh are wrong,just for the fact he is actually Steve Waugh's twin brother would mean both wouldn't be Australian.but they were born in Sydney.Andrew symonds would be a chance but I'm not sure he had played test cricket until a couple of years ago.
