Personally, I love this store. I know it is overpriced, but hey looking good can't be cheap! Ha Ha, no but really I think they have adorable clothes, and I love the way the store smells.
Good Luck!

annoying. In middle school I used to be 'L1K3 0MGZZ AB3RCR0MB13 && F1TCH' and I thought it was the greatest thing in the world. Now, I've realized how much money I've wasted on it. I can not stand girls that think they're super fashionable just because they're wearing the same clothes as every other girl in their school. I'll admit, I still go in there sometimes and I'll find something cute but Abercrombie really isn't fashionable. You don't see models or any celebrities wearing it. I just feel that most people that shop there buy it so they can look exactly like everyone else (unless you get a pair of blue sweatpants with a moose and your friend gets a pink pair, that's 707411Y different! ..i was being sarcastic.)
I feel that it is overpriced, for fabric that isn't even good quality. It's not luxurious or a 'brand name', most people that wear it are superifical. Most people that wear AF only like other people that wear AF and basically all look like clones with their Vera Bradley bags. AF's great, if you're a 13 year old whose favorite book is Gossip Girls and wants to believe that they are the epititimy of fashion.

I can't beleive I used to like it. It is overpriced for the crap that they have and the clothing is hardly what you could call clothing, considering how useless it is when it comes to covering you. I cannot judge the people on what stores they shop at though. I do not understand why people think Hot Topic is for "Emos, punks, goths, and scenes" if they did not judge it at first sight, they may like some of the stuff in there. I d not see why we are sorted by the clothes we wear. I really sucks. I used to wear a mix of Abercrombie and Hot Topic. I did not stop shopping at Abercrombie because I thought it was for preps, it just was not my taste any longer. If people would not automatically juge Hot Topic they may like it, they also may not, but at least they know now!

I like the store, and the clothing is nice, basic, and withstand years of wear. They are pretty, without being super trendy or too sexy.
As for the people that wear it, I sometimes envy them, because it's not a cheap store! I shop there myself, and bought a camisole, a hoodie and a sweater from there, and I find their clothing comfortable, high quality and long lasting.
Meaning, they don't turn to crap after you wash them, as some clothing lines do.
As for the people who wear them, I see a lot of people ages 11-25 wear them.
It screams upper crust middle class, and whether that is actually true or not for the people who buy them, that's what it says when you buy something so pricy!
I don't buy jeans or skirts there, because I can get those elsewhere for cheaper. I like their shirts, sweaters and sale items, and their very soft fleece!

I wear basically only Abercormbie, Hollister and American Eagle, but I wouln't buy anything that wasn't cute or if it was skanky just because it was from one of these stores. I think that if you say that all people who wear Abercrombie and Hollister are people trying to fit in, etc. then you are judging just because of their clothes, too, even though you say that everybody else judges by clothes and that you're against that, and you need to get a life. *Whew* long sentance. My opinion, by the way. Hope I helped!

I think some of the clothes are cute. As for the people who wear it -- I am sure some of the people are just fine.
My 14 year old niece told me a story about a school mate of hers. This girl came up to her and asked her, "where do you get your clothes?" My niece innocently answered her. Then this girl says (in a very snotty voice), "well I get all of mine at A & F." My mature advice to my niece was to say, "OH, they have YOUR size there?" This has been my only experience with someone who wears A & F.

It is overpriced, the store is horrible.... I cant spend more then 3 minutes without getting a migraine... BUT I loveeeeeeee the clothes. I don't mean to judge but people that wear them are usually bitchy/ stereotypical. If you wear it the right way. I LOVE them. I'm not going to lie!! hahah
