New styles in clothing, music, catch words from tv shows. People hear or see people doing something and follow like sheep.

Yes, I can give you TWO!
One: the rap "culture". Way back when, someone got the bright idea that being angry and violent could be turned into an "art" form....and look what's happened!
Two: being gay is all the trendy rage these days! We get to see Britney & Madonna swapping spit on national TV, and Rosie spouting off about her "wife" to anyone who'll listen. Men are converting and "coming out" in DROVES, and they're ALL demanding the right to MARRY one another!
Some people just can't resist jumping on whatever bandwagon is being shoved down their throats at the time There seems to be no end to all the insanity, and "herd mentality" is the reason why!!!
