I missed the date to get my Depo Provera shot. Do i have to wait to get the shot again, can I got right away?

You are supposed to get your depo shot once every 12 weeks, since you miss yours you should use a back up method of birth control until you go in for your next shot. As for waiting for your shot, there is no wait to get your next shot (unless you count the amount of time you are stuck waiting in the waiting room at the Dr's office), so call the Dr, make an appt and get back on schedule. If you really want the shot, they will make you take a pregnancy test before administering the shot.
IN my experience, the depo shot is horrible. I was on it for four years and am so glad I am off of it. I had the most horrid side affects from the shot.

Well how long has it been since you last had the shot,?because it doesn't get out of your system right away, you should use a backup method, but there is no certain amount of time you have to wait to get the shot again just go get it right away.
