I was reading about that young boy that killed that crazy huge pig...like over 1,000lbs. I saw that he was getting death threats from animal rights activists and people say that this 11 year old boy should have shot himself instead of the pig. I mean, is it THAT wrong for an 11 year old kid to enjoy hunting with his dad? It is fine to disagree with the sport (i dont hunt myself), but to write to a young boy and tell him that you wish he would go off to war and be beheaded on video...that is just sick. And the sad part is that these things were written in perfect english with american spellings, plus it was a bigger story here than international. how could americans do these sort of things to their own children?

contard, actually the kid's father started a webpage and shows some of them. you can go there and read many of the letters sent to his son. so yeah, i am providing a link, despite your accusations.

It would seem to depend. It appears that to liberals, animals are more important than fetuses, nearly full-term human babies, disabled or comatose people, or the extremely old or sick. However, if we are talking about convicted murderers on death row, rapists & child molesters, drug seller and users, terrorists, or welfare brood mares, alcoholic, or the chronically lazy, then the importance of animals is equal to that of those types of humans. Humans, however, are NEVER more important than animals.
That is how the liberal perspective looks to me.

PETA are in fact sick bastards, no doubt nor arguement from me there.
But let's be real, first off the kid didn't "hunt" this thing down, it was a "caged" hunt. You know, the kind all the stuffed shirt cons go on so they can act manly?

There are also many claims now that this is a total farce, that the pictures were faked. You know, like the pictures of John Kerry standing next to Jane Fonda at protest rallies.

Learn Photoshop and you can do wonders.

Now, answer this....do you agree with the pro-lifers that scream and actually kill doctors for doing their jobs? Is that OK in your book or is it only bad when "libruls" do something?

residing in Alaska, the place lots of my friends count on getting a moose interior the autumn to confirm they are able to eat all iciness, i'll pick the toddler whale first. Liberals like to tell Alaskans how incorrect we are to seek and fish. 2nd could be the tree - environmental libs have exceptionally a lot destroyed many states ability (and suitable!) to regulate their forests. only ask somebody in southern California what occurs whilst forests are not controlled good! Very distant third could be the human toddler.

Those were the actions of some sick sick people. My husband and son's will go hunting this fall. It's a wonderful bonding experience for them. We eat what we kill. The people who wrote those things to that little boy should be horse whipped.

I don't think all left wing loons are tree huggers so I don't know that I would say libs think animals are more important just animal rights activist. I kill animals to eat them, very good for the environment and I consider it going green!

No, I don't think hunting is wrong, I just don't want to see it on the news and see people glorify in the killings of animals. Yes I love animals.

Personally, If I had a choice of saving an animal or a con republican, I'd save the animal any day.

Obviously the 11 year old was not a minority.

i know many animal rights activists are NOT vegetarians...
i have no qualms with hunting for food, whether you need it or not(as long as you use/eat it it)
i disagree with anyone who threatens him for this...
i also disagree with anyone who goes and whacks an animal just for the hell of it...
and i admit i did it when i was his age.....
i just,at my age dont see it anymore...
that is all........

Who are you to make such a blanket question regarding "liberals"? What exactly are you trying to get at? Why don't you just ask what you want to ask?

Do you really think that all the people in the world who consider themselves "liberal" have the same viewpoint?

For that matter, do you think that all "conservatives" have the same viewpoint?

Your question is an embarassment to your parents. You should apologize to them.

Of course. That's why they like Brokeback Mountain so much with all of the alleged animal cruelty in it. Sick perverts.
