the earth would cook. its like sunblock for the earth. ever go outside on a hot day and not put on any protection. you could die from that. or get sever sun poisoning. that is what would happen to the earth from constantly being in the sun with only a solar eclipse to look forward to which only happens once every 90 years or so.

It is a very long story but the ozone layer has an automatic repair sequence that goes like this. The ozone layer is created where the solar winds collide with the earth's magnetic field . This the very edge of space. The solar winds are ionized from the heat of the sun and the beta particles are attracted to the north pole and make it negative. The alpha particles are attracted to the south pole and make it positive. At a time when the tilt of earth is right they form a beta ray gun that blows a hole in the ozone layer at the poles. Now to the neat ozone repair system . If the ozone layer were to thin and let some alpha particles through to bombard the nitrogen layer and trans mutates the nitrogen to oxygen and thus the instant repair.

So far, nothing really. The ozone hole is the largest it's ever been despite the decrease of chlorine in the upper atmosphere. Some areas, like Australia, have seen an increase in facial skin cancers. However, skin cancer is also the easiest to treat, thankfully. Some would argue, that because of that, there is little to fear from any potential increase to exposure.

It may not deteriorate but it will sure as heck decrease. The earth will not be as protected from the harmful rays of the sun...Did ya'll know that one CFC can destroy 15,000 ozone molecules?

More solar radiation will come into the atmosphere and we will get radiation poisoning and cancer. The ozone layer will never disappear completely. It is always manufactured in the sky.

Well, one thing for sure-more skin cancers.
These conditions could expose large numbers of people and animals to more ultraviolet radiation, which can disrupt reproduction of some animals and destroy plant life.
