No a pediatircian is a doctor who specializes in children. A neonatal nurse at the hospital will be specialized in caring for newborns but they are not doctors and if something serious is needed then they call a doctor.

Some people choose to have their babies and/or children seen by a pediatrician while others just use their family doctors for regular shots and appointments. Nurses may be skilled in many areas but they are not as fully trained or licensed as doctors are.

No a pediatrician is a Dr not a nurse. A pediatric nurse can give the shots and take measurments things like that but can't diagnose a problem or order tests or shots or medications only a Dr/Pediatrician can.

No. A pediatrician is a doctor that specializes in caring for children. There's something called a nurse practitioner and they act in the capacity of a doctor for simple situations though they are not doctors, just advanced nurses.
