How do you know which is which?
I don't know whether I have an efficient gaydar, or whether I'm just thinking wishfully most of the time.
So confusing.

gay-dar is basically a gay man who understands himself and recognizes situations, looks, mannerisms, etc in other people that remind them of their own homosexuality.
It's a very hit and miss thing. Sometimes it works, other times not at all.

You never can tell for sure. You'll fine-tune your gaydar as you find out whether it was right or wrong, but it will never be perfect.
Check out a YouTube video, containing several cases on SoGayTV where panels tried to determine the sexuality of various guys, even asking them peripheral questions. I don't believe a panel was ever unanimous!

Some people can sense really well if people are gay or not. I dont have a gay demeanor at all and my girlfriend weeded me out almost instantly. Or was it because i had a rainbow belt on? Hmm...

in my case i think is wishful thinking cuz ...o wait i wouldnt know if i dont ask but still my mind could be playing tricks on me. i think my gaydar is jacked up.

follow ur gut. if u get that uber-strong feeling that a person is gay and wont be convinced otherwise, then ok. trust yourself. or just ask the person. if its any consolation, i feel the same way! lol =]

Sometimes I can tell, sometimes not. But I keep my speculations in my mind. Sometimes it can border on stereo-typing so I would be careful!
