Hi London Girl! well, as an "old" boy/man from Norway, I can say you are not alone, ha ha ha, I mean I talk to myself all the time, ha ha ha, I believe it is as normal as normal can be, so no worries! Many people I know do the same, and they are at least normal to look at, ha ha ha. Tell your father to relax, but hey, it is nothing dangerous about taking a hour or two with a therapist, take it as an experience, and if you want to, give the therapist a story to remember, ha ha ha, as a joke of course. Have fun girl, and be yourself what ever anyone say, as long as you are a nice girl and don`t go around and bother people that is, ha ha ha. Peace and love from Norway!

All the time. I like talking to myself about everything, and before I write stories I generally act out the entire story verbally and change my voice on each characters' dialogue. And no I don't have Social Anxiety Disorder. I have a lot of friends but sometimes it is said that part of being introverted and sign of intelligence.

Actually, I usually don't admit this, but yes. About things I don't talk to anyone else about. Sometimes I even pretend I'm on a show like Oprah or Ellen DeGeneres where I'm being interviewed. I'm just bored is all. And usually I do it when no one's home or in the bathroom. It's weird, dirty little secret I guess.

I talk to myself all the time, it has cost me so many things, but who cares! Who you are is who you are! Sometimes I will have these long drawn out conversations about anything, and I will be laughing and stuff. I say hey don't be ashamed, there is nothing crazy about it! It is good charisma skills too and helps you to organize your thoughts and everything else!

Yes, I talk to myself, and I work in a mental health facility. If your Dad wants to take you to a therapist, let him. It will ease his mind. I don't believe talking to yourself means anything at all as far as mental health goes. Sometimes, going along with the 'rents is the best tactic.

Sometimes I do, but I have a big sister who is my best friend ever. So I don't really need to, but when she's not around I do. It's perfectly normal, especially when there isn't anyone around to talk to.

I get where you are coming from. My dad says only crazy people talk to themselves. Sometimes it is like no one understands what you are saying but yourself
