A few years back Peavey made a bass that could be used as a MIDI controler. Does anyone know the name of the bass? It was a normal bass that had a seperate connection to a box that came with it that enable it to controll MIDI sounds.

Yes! This bass is called a peavey midi bass. A lot of bass players were intimidated by the set up that had to be done, the cost, and developing the correct playing skills it took to play this MIDI BASS GUITAR. I have had this bass since about 1990 and I love it!!! I use it with all of my keyboards, Motif XF, Roland Juno GI, Gaia SH 01, Ensoniq TS 10 & 12. My CD will be coming out in 2014, it's smooth Jazz. My contact is 870-995-0472 or reggie081956@yahoo.com. I WILL HELP YOU IF YOU CAN FIND A MIDI BASS GUITAR!!!!!
