i hope im not the only one who thinks this but i think there are too many reality shows on tv its like the only thing they have anymore especially in prime time who else agrees with me?

and to be honest they are far from REALITY
the worlds population does not look like the typical
person on any of those shows

I wish they could come up with a good variety show like Carol Burnett back in the 70's or a show that the whole family could sit down and enjoy like Little House On The Prairie or The Waltons! Whatever happened to good comedies! I see none of these anymore! The TV people need to take a long hard look at what people really want on TV as I think we are all about burnt out on reality shows!

At first I use to think so, Then I realized that everybody has their own taste in reality show's and not everybody will like each and every reality show. I only like say 2-3 reality show's per year that are out. And I know that many other's will like most of the other's that are out the rest of the year. So its all of a matter of opinion depending on what your interest are and what you want to watch or don't watch in a reality show.

I have been a active hater of "reality TV shows" for years, but despite all the hate and criticism from me and a majority of the population in this country, these shows and their doppelganger spawn are STILL being shown on the air. Why is this? No clue. In essence, I believe the producers of these shows are fully aware of the amount of hate and criticism for reality TV, but somehow are willing to ignore it and rake in whatever cash they can of ratings to any ignorant-minded individuals who WANT to watch the shows (their are a lot of 'em out there. TRUST ME.) and get money from advertising.

I totally agree. There are way too many. Besides, there not really "reality tv." No one is real on them anyway. We need more good television. I don't care if its comedy or drama, just something interesting to watch.

YES!!! i hate all these reality shows, what ever happened to good old comedy TV shows like married with children and that 70s show. i watch very little TV now because of these reality show

I used to whilst they began like Survivor.It became into thrilling, yet then we've been given massive Brother yet that has been canned. i admire the marvelous Race. each and each of something is rubbish so i might say on the entire i do unlike them. we've not have been given Deadliest seize right here yet and oh excitement Australian Idol has no longer been in this year yet.

I go right along with you on that one.I did enjoy Idol,Dancing With the Stars and The Bachelor....but in a way I'm glad they are over.Now they have a ton of new ones....you know what ? I'm giving you a star !

I agree. The thing i hate isn't how many they are, isn't how their all alike; Stupid and pointless
