Alex Rodriguez signed a 10 year $252 million contract b4 the 2001 season. While the contract averages out to $25 million/year, the contract was backloaded with much of the money coming at the tail end of the contract. This year Rodriguez is making $27,708,525.

His salary for this year is listed in the second column second from last line in the first link below. The second link is a year by year breakdown of his contract.
