Do you mean the ones still in the ovaries or the fertilized one which is now becoming a baby?

1] eggs are fertilized OUTSIDE the ovary, usually in the fallopian tube, where they travel to the uterus to be implanted, etc.
2] Females are born with a lifetime supply of eggs, and never make any new ones. The eggs still in the ovaries stay there; they just don't get the hormones necessary for the 'ripe and release' cycle, because your body doesn't produce them while you're pregnant.

The eggs in the ovary just sit quietly and wait until it's time to start ovulating again.
